People supporting the March of Dimes gathered Saturday morning at Central Elementary for the annual March for Babies.

A good turnout is being hoped for Tuesday at a public hearing on a proposed conversion charter school.

“We hope we’ll have a nice crowd,” said Dr. Jerry Woods, superintendent of the school district.
