Morning rains played a role in an accident at the intersection of Newcastle and Arkansas streets on Monday.

BOARD HEARS OVERVIEW OF PLANS FOR SIG GRANT AT HIGH SCHOOL

An operating budget of about $27 million was adopted by the Forrest City School Board Monday night. The board also heard an overview of the $4.9 million School Improvement Grant (SIG) recently received for Forrest City High School.
