2 .COMMISSION AND TERMS OF PAYMENT

• Credit must be established with our business office before charges can be made.
• All bills are due and payable upon receipt.
• Commission to recognized agencies............15%

3. GENERAL RATE POLICY

• Rates and conditions are subject to change on 30 days notice.
• Alcoholic beverage advertising accepted.
• Advertising set to resemble editorial matter must be marked "Advertisement."
• The publisher reserves the right to edit or reject any advertising deemed objectionable, whether in subject matter, illustration, or phraseology.
• All step-down ads must be bordered. Total inches must exceed 60" in order to run as a step-down ad. Advertisers' copy will be set once, and changes from original copy will be charged on a time basis.
• Minimum space accepted 1 col. x 2 inches in depth. The advertiser and/or agency shall designate the width in columns and exact depth in inches. Advertisements will be published and billed on exact space order; measurements from cut-off rule to cut off rule.
• The listed rates apply only to Times-Herald except where designated.
• ERRORS - Every effort is made to avoid errors. The Times-Herald Publishing Co. shall be liable for any error in any advertisement caused by its own negligence only to the extent of republishing in the next regular issue the item in which the error occurred, and in space not exceeding that occupied by the item on its first publication. In case of advertised error in price, a letter will be furnished to the advertiser, to be posted in his store, setting forth the correction.

• Roll-Fed Preprints, preprinted inserts, Accepted any day, single page................$800.00
• Roll-Fed Preprint information and pricing for East Arkansas Advertiser available upon request. Preprints reservation date-1 week prior. Preprint delivery date-no later than 3 days prior. Preprinted inserts are stuffed in the plant.

SPECIAL CHARGES
Each picture taken by a member of the Times-Herald Publishing Co. staff for use in advertising will be $15.00 plus 30 cents per mile.
A $15.00 charge will be made for all ad reductions.

11. R.O.P. DEPTH REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum acceptable size, 1 column wide by 2" deep.
• Advertisement exceeding 191/2 inches in depth will be charged for full column-21 inches.

12. CONTRACT/COPY REGULATIONS

• Contracts must be completed within one year from date of contract.
• Not responsible for advertising plates or other printing materials.

13. CLOSING TIMES

• Monday through Friday 2 days before publication.

The above deadlines are to cover copy space up to a double-truck. When the space to run exceeds a double-truck, the advertiser is required to furnish copy at least 24 hours earlier.
