Monday, against the visiting Brinkley Tigers, Forrest City collected 10 hits and took advantage of four walks and three hit batters to score an 11-7 win at the Sports Complex.

Taylor started and lasted three innings before giving way to Hancock in the fourth.

Mark lewis led the Mustangs offensively by scoring three runs on two hits and one walk. Will Harris and Dustin Gore scored two runs each while Brandon Cochran, Danny Flowers, Daffy Norment and Milton Joyner added single runs.

The bottom of the sixth proved to be the big inning for the Mustangs.

Taylor gave up four of the Brinkley runs on five hits and one walk while striking out two.
