The Forrest City White Junior Lady Mustangs improved to 6-2 for the year Thursday by turning back Forrest City Blue Junior Lady Mustangs 38-13.
Sequoria Grady led the White team with 16 points while Shari Rogers and Viveca Kimble added eight points each.
The White Lady Mustangs started fast to put the game out of reach for the winless Blue Lady Mustangs, jumping to a 15-2 lead after only one period.
They pushed their lead to 26-4 at the half and 32-8 to start the final period.
Ameshia Barden led the Blue Lady Mustangs with nine points while Monique Foy added four points.
The White Lady Mustangs move back into conference play next week with a road trip to Jonesboro Annie Camp on Monday and a home game Thursday against West Memphis east.
The Blue Lady Mustangs will host Jonesboro MacArthur on Monday and will travel to West memphis West Thursday.

Stephon Weaver and Sherman Allen each scored in double figures Thursday night to lead the Forrest City Blue Mustangs to a 48-33 win over the White Mustangs at Mustang Arena.
Weaver finished with 13 points and Allen added 10 points in the win. LaCody Braddock added eight points and Michael Alston had four.
The White Mustangs cut the Blue lead to seven points several times in the final period but never got closer as the Blue Mustangs pulled away in the final minute.
Cameron Henderson led the White team with 14 points while Jacoby Morton added six and Kyle Metcalf finished with five points.
The Blue Mustangs improve to 2-3 for the year while the White team is still searching for its first victory.
After a 2-2 tie early, the Blue Mustangs scored the next 12 points to lead 14-2 after one period.
They pushed that advantage to 26-13 at the half and led 28-17 to start the final period.
In the eighth-grade game, Travis Holloway and Mario Howard each scored 11 points to push the White Mustangs to a win over the Blue.
Larry Bean led the Blue team with seven points.
Lonoke Tournament
Pulaski Academy 51, Hughes 36
The Hughes Junior Blue Devils suffered a 51-36 loss to Pulaski Academy Thursday at the Lonoke Junior High Invitational at Lonoke.
David Dowden led Hughes with 20 points while Adrian Driver had six points.
The Junior Blue Devils will play Lonoke Saturday at 4:15 p.m., in the junior boys' consolation game.
The Hughes junior girls, senior girls and senior boys will host Brinkley tonight for a three-game 6AAA Conference set.

The Forrest City Mustangs secured their first win of the season Thursday night by defeating CAC 66-48 in first-round play at the Bryant Invitational.
The Mustangs return to the tournament tonight to take on the Stuttgart Ricebirds at 7:30 p.m., in a winner's semifinal game.
Stuttgart defeated host team Bryant 72-66 Thursday.
Derrick Smith led the Mustangs with 19 points while sophomore Deangelo "Buck" Braddock added 11 points.
Braddock scored six of the team's first 10 points as the Mustangs opened with a 10-2 run.
Forrest City led 30-22 at the half.
Vince Millen added nine points while Kerry Evans chipped in eight points.
"CAC hit some threes which kept them in the game," Mustang Coach Dwight Lofton said. "Our kids played well and we're just glad to get that first win."
A win tonight brings the Mustangs back on Saturday at 7 p.m. while a loss to Stuttgart puts the Mustangs in Saturday's 5:30 p.m. game.
