Beulah Hall

Mrs. Beulah Hall, age 92, of Wynne, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at Wynnwood Nursing Center in Wynne.

Mrs. Hall was a homemaker and a member of the Forrest Chapel United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Pauline Morgan of Wynne, Louise Young of Byhalia, Miss. and Betty Hinson of Eureka Springs; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hall will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2001, at 2 p.m., at Kernodle Funeral Home Chapel in Wynne. Burial will follow in Harris Chapel Cemetery, with Kernodle Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.


Alvin Franklin "Bud" Semonds

Mr. Alvin Franklin Semonds, age 59, of Pine Tree, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at his home.

Mr. Semonds was born on Dec. 23, 1941, in Lonoke. He was the son of Johnnie and Gracie Nichols Semonds and they preceded him in death. Mr. Semonds was a life-long resident of Pine Tree. He was a member of the Pine Tree Baptist Church and was employed by Dale Medford Farms.

Mr. Semonds is survived by his wife, June Simmons-Semonds of Hunter; two sons, Thomas Calender of Jonesboro and Billy Semonds of Hunter; one daughter, Melissa Ratliff of Wheatley; one sister, Rachel Register of Jacksonville, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Semonds were held on Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, at 2 p.m., at Pine Tree Baptist Church in the Pine Tree Community, with Bro. David Yates and Bro. John Latham officiating the service. Burial followed at Barnishaw Cemetery in Pine Tree, with Fowler Funeral Home of Brinkley in charge of the arrangements. The family asks that memorials be sent to Pine Tree Baptist Church.
