Mr. Frank T. Raines, age 86, of Forrest City, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001, at his home.
Mr. Raines was born on Oct. 31, 1914, in Cullman, Ala. He was the son of James Martin Raines and Arizella Keith Raines. Mr. Raines made Forrest City his home most of his life. He was a veteran of World War II, a Baptist and a car dealer.
Mr. Raines was married to Helen Frances Rice in 1943 and she survives him along with a daughter, Mickie Poindexter of Forrest City; a brother, James Richard Raines of Memphis; a sister Lucille Hodges, of Forrest City and one grandchild.
Funeral services for Mr. Raines will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2001, at 2 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home with the Rev. Joel Meredith officiating. Burial will follow at Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
