Mrs. Estella Johnson, age 92, of Madison, died Monday, Feb. 19, 2001, at Crestpark Nursing Home in Forrest City.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Madison Light M.B. Church in Madison.
She is survived by two sons, Gerald Johnson of Inkster, Mich. and Jewell Johnson of East St. Louis, Ill.; two daughters, Barbara Brown of Madison and Shirley Starks of East St. Louis, Ill.; a sister, Christine Hancock of Colt; a brother, Hosea Gray of Colt; 14 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Johnson will be held Saturday, Feb. 24, from 9 to 11 a.m., at Madison Light M.B. Church. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Lonzo Gatlin officiating. Burial will follow in Clark Cemetery in Colt. Woodard Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
