Mr. Curtis W. Bills, age 71, of Memphis, died Wednesday, July 11, 2001, at Veterans Hospital in Memphis.
Mr. Bills, born Sept. 24, 1929, in Memphis, was an employee of Woodhouse Mortuary for 20 years. He was a mortician for 40 years.
Mr. Bills is survived by his wife, Mariah Woodhouse Bills of Memphis; a daughter, Annette Shaw of Virginia Beach, Va.; a sister, Jeanette Bills of Memphis and three grandchildren.
Visitation for Mr. Bills will be held Saturday, July 14, 2001, at Shady Grove Church in Memphis from 10 a.m. to noon. Funeral services will follow at noon at Shady Grove Church in Memphis, 1821 Kansas Street. Burial services will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2001, at 9 a.m. in the National Cemetery in Memphis under the direction of Woodhouse Mortuary.
