Mr. Eddie Baugh Sr., age 76, of Palestine, died Thursday, July 12, 2001, at Veteran's Medical Center in Memphis.
Mr. Baugh was born Oct. 6, 1924, in Farindale and was the son of George Baugh and Kattie Fagen Baugh.
He is survived by his wife, Hattie Weaver Baugh of Palestine; seven daughters, Ann Noble, Rosemary White, Rosie Adams, Debbie Murdock, all of Chicago, Ill., Ora Baugh of Fordyce, Yolanda Tate of Camden and Elnora Moss of Palestine; five sons, Eddie Baugh Jr., Sylvest Baugh and Irvin Moss, all of Chicago, Ill., George Baugh of Madison, Wis. and Stanley Baugh of Racine, Wis.; seven sisters, Georgia Harris of Malvern, Lorine Ivy, Evelyn Catron, both of Cleveland, Ohio, Odessa Smith of San Diego, Calif., Izola Thomas of Cranford, N.J. and Kattie Bennett and Bobbie Melton, both of Maywood, Ill; and a brother, Lewis Baugh of Boiling Brook, Ill.
Visitation for Mr. Baugh will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2001, from 2 to 5:30 p.m., at Woodhouse Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 19, 2001, at 1 p.m., at Antioch M.B. Church with Rev. N. Grace officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest City Cemetery under the direction of Woodhouse Mortuary.
Mrs. Mary S. Trevino, age 58, of Forrest City, died Monday, July 16, 2001, at her home.
Mrs. Trevino was born July 4, 1943, in Waco, Texas and was the daughter of Thomas Gonzales and Paula Santos Gonzales. She lived in Forrest City most of her life and was a housewife and a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Mrs. Trevino was preceded in death by two daughters, Mary Trevino and Debbie Trevino.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Trevino of the home; three sons, Johnny Trevino Jr., Ricky Trevino and Fabian Trevino, all of Forrest City; a daughter, Sandra Devazier of Forrest City; three brothers, Lupe Gonzales and Raymond Martinez, both of Forrest City and Joe Gonzales of Ohio; three sisters, Emma Tigerina of Marion, Rosie Gonzales of Forrest City and Juanita Sandoval of Florida and nine grandchildren.
A Rosary will be held for Mrs. Trevino on Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at 7 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2001, at 11 a.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with burial to follow in Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
