Mr. Ethridge Odell "Butch" Frakes, III, age 38, of Marianna, died Saturday, July 21, 2001, at the Regional Hospital in Helena.
Mr. Frakes was born July 30, 1962, and was the son of Ethridge Frakes, II and Linda Harpole Frakes Ashburn. He was a landscaper with Christy's Lawn Service of Helena and was he was a Baptist.
Mr. Frakes is survived by his parents; his step-father, Farrell Ashburn; his step-mother, Louise Frakes; one brother, Lance Carter of LaGrange; one sister, Angela Smith of Marianna; three half-brothers, Charlie Frakes, Todd Frakes and Chris Frakes; three half-sisters, Elizabeth Frakes, Melissa Howton and Lawanda Black; his grandparents, Louis and Orene Harpole of Marianna.
Visitation for Mr. Frakes will be Monday, July 23, 2001, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the First Baptist Church in Marianna. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2001, at 10 a.m., at the First Baptist Church of Marianna with Bro. Steve Walters officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Creek Cemetery near Aubrey under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.
Mr. Robert L. "Bob" Kimble, age 59, of Forrest City, died Saturday, July 21, 2001, at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Madison, Wis..
Mr. Kimble was born Jan. 9, 1942, and was the son of Robert Lee Kimble and Emma Catherine Combs Kimble. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and he was a Baptist.
Mr. Kimble was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Lee Kimble.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Kimble of the home; three daughters, Lonita Fuller of Chrystal Springs, Miss., Helen Winchell and Ann Johnson, both of Texarkana, Texas; one son, Robert Kimble of Vicksburg, Miss.; two sisters, Hellen Denies and Paulette Rose, both of Colt; two brothers, Marvin Kimble of Vicksburg, Miss. and Larry Kimble of Colt and three grandchildren.
Visitation for Mr. Kimble will be held Monday, July 23, 2001, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Morgan Funeral Home. Funeral services for Mr. Kimble will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2001, at 2 p.m., at Morgan Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Thomason and Bro. Aubrey Jayroe officiating. Burial will follow in Hughes Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.
