Mr. Kenneth "M.C." Wright Sr., age 58, of Forrest City, died Tuesday, June 5, 2001, at Baptist Hospital East in Memphis.
Mr. Wright, born July 9, 1942, in Forrest City, was the son of Andrew Wright and Lee Ora Mooney Wright.
Mr. Wright is survived by his wife, Octavia Morris Wright of Chicago, Ill.; two daughters, Andrea Wright and Lori Lewis, both of Danville, Ill.; three sons, Kenneth Wright Jr. of Danville, Ill., and Gregory Morris and Christon Muse, both of Chicago, Ill.; two sisters, Imogene Wright and Emma Goodwin, both of Forrest City; a brother, Jessie Wright of Forrest City and 15 grandchildren.
Visitation for Mr. Wright will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2001, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Chapel of Woodhouse Mortuary. Funeral services for Mr. Wright will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at 1 p.m. at United Christian M.B. Church with Rev. Lester Taggart officiating. Burial will follow in Casteel Cemetery under the direction of Woodhouse Mortuary.
