Mr. Hardin Crowe, age 83, of Palestine, died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, at the Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis.
Mr. Crowe was born Aug. 14, 1917 in Kentucky and was the son of Samuel Crowe and Attola Hedden Crowe. He lived in St. Francis County most of his life and was a retired timberman.
Mr. Crowe is survived by one sister, Beatrice Halbert of Palestine and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Crowe will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2001, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services for Mr. Crowe will be held graveside Thursday, June 21, 2001, at 10:30 a.m., at the White Hall Cemetery in Hillman Arkansas with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Miss Addison Gray Erwin, age five weeks, of Jonesboro, died Monday, June 18, 2001, at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.
She is survived by her parents, Jeff and Paula Jayroe Erwin of Jonesboro; maternal grandparents, Henry Dale and Judy Jayroe of Palestine and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gray of Forrest City; paternal grandparents, Ron and Linda Erwin of Jonesboro; a maternal great-grandmother, Geraldine Giles of Palestine and paternal great-grandparents, June Erwin of Jonesboro and Ray and Mae Robertson of Jonesboro.
Visitation for Miss Erwin will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2001, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 21, 2001, at 2 p.m., at Central Baptist Church of Jonesboro with Rev. Mike Adams and Rev. James Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of the arrangements.
The family requests that memorials be made to Central Baptist Church building fund, Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, or to Gideons International.
