Mrs. Juanita F. Shepherd, age 74, of Tumbling Shoals, died Monday, June 25, 2001, at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock.
Mrs. Shepherd was born Feb. 16, 1927, to the late Dan and Mittie Bell "Giles" Fleming. She was a retired secretary for the U.S. Government agricultural division and worked at the Shepco Ceramic Shop in Tumbling Shoals. Mrs. Shepherd was also a member of the Heber Springs First Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband, J.D. Shepherd of Tumbling Shoals and many nieces an nephews.
Visitation for Mrs. Shepherd will be Wednesday, June 27, 2001, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Olmstead Funeral Home in Heber Springs. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 28, 2001, at 10 a.m. at Olmstead Chapel with Rev. Charles Olsen officiating. Burial will follow in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens in Heber Springs with Olmstead Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
