Miss Amanda Edgar Wilkerson, age 21, of Forrest City, died Thursday, June 21, 2001, in Forrest City.
Miss Wilkerson was born Oct. 9, 1979, in Little Rock. She was a student at the University of Mississippi and was a member of the Phi Mu Sorority. Miss Wilkerson was a member of the Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her mother, Linda McAuley Carney of Proctor; her step-father, Gil Carney of Proctor; her father, Jim Edgar of Atlanta, Ga.; a brother, Drew Wilkerson of Proctor; a maternal grandmother, Sula Hobbie of Forrest City; a maternal great-grandmother, Kathryn Rauscher of Forrest City and a paternal grandmother, Edna Edgar of Forrest City.
Graveside services will be held for Miss Wilkerson on Wednesday, June 27, 2001, at 2 p.m., at Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
