The Taco Bell sponsored Forrest City Mustang/Lady Mustang elementary basketball camp concluded Thursday at Mustang Arena. The camp got under way Monday and was for youths entering the fourth, fifth and sixth grades.
The elementary girls met during the morning session and FCHS Coach Sue Jayroe said she had close to 30 participants. Jayroe was assisted by Sharon Bradley, who coaches junior high basketball at Conway as well as several Lady Mustang basketball players, Katrina Wynne, Crystal Summage, Viveva Kimble and Kim Ursery.
Individual camp awards were given to Erin Marlowe (free throw contest); Anna Horton (1-on-1 competition); Elaine Patton, Marlowe and Justine McDaniel (3 on 3 competition); Semeiko Grady and Kimesha Norris (passing contest).
The "Most Hustle" awards were given to Grady (4th grade); Jasmine Williams (5th grade) and KeShawa Stevenson (6th grade).
The "Most Improved" awards were given to Deidre Sparks (4th grade); Akira Brown (5th grade) and Horton (6th grade).
The elementary boys attended the afternoon session and FCHS Coach Dwight Lofton had more than 50 campers. Lofton was assisted by Mustang players Vince Millen, Omar Davis, Nate Williamson, Derrick Smith, Derrick Brown and Kerry Evans.

Moving up a notch and making the change to a new format hasn't slowed Times-Herald in the slightest.
Following back-to-back league titles in 10-under slow pitch (1999 & 2000), the team moved into the 12-under league this season and switched from slow pitch to fast pitch.
The result is the same. Thursday night, in make up games at the Sports Complex, Times-Herald defeated Crowley's 18-10 to win the 12-under league title.
The team is unbeaten at 10-0 and has two games left to play. Their closest challenger, Giffin's Grins already has three losses.
Four Times-Herald players -- Sara Cate Lewey, Meg and Layne McGuirt and Aviva Williams -- have been a part of all three league titles.
Thursday night, the quartet accounted for seven of the 18 runs scored with Williams, Lewey and Layne McGuirt leading the way with two runs each.
Jordan Nelson, added two runs while Jaslyn Deans, Randal Ross, Stonie Weeks, Rochelle Wilson, Sha Neal and Madeline Lawrence all contributed single runs.
Crowleys got two runs each from Dekesha Huff, Alicia Hall and Jazzalyn Rodgers while Kayla Ballard, Christina Faulk, Morgan Davis and Lauren Wall scored single runs.
Children's Clinic 11, Debbie's 7
Anna Horton, Hannah Davenport and Elaina Patton each scored twice to help lead Children's Clinic to their first victory of the year with an 11-7 win over Debbie's Flowers.

Mr. T Auto and Easley Law Firm remained locked in a tie for third place in the Minor League standings Thursday after each team picked up an easy victory.
Mr. T dropped Farm Bureau 21-9 and Easley handed Joey's Muffler a 20-7 loss.
Taylor-Casbeer leads the league while M&T Paving and Lion's Club are tied for second place.
The league will play make up games on Saturday, beginning at 8 a.m.
Devin Green scored four runs for Mr. T and hit a home run in the third inning.
Lance Hughes and Davyon McKinney scored three runs each. Jermaine Russell, Ryan Green, Anthony Guyton, James Allen Aldridge and Chatman Tucker scored twice while Darrien Green scored a single run.
A. J. Martin scored twice for Farm Bureau while Bryan Whittenton, Herbert Barlow, Will Whittenton, Cory Nelson, Jacob Sanders, Andre Dulaney and Wesley Rice added single runs.
Jerrod Brown hit three home runs and scored four times to lead Easley.
Jarvis Bolden hit two home runs and scored three runs. Cory Leslie added three runs while Devante Mitchell, Anthony Wallace, Robert Lee, Roheem Wynne and Sam Bailey scored two runs each.
Michael Ludwig, Drew Poindexter, Matthew Vaughn, Dusty Smith, Larry Smith, Justin Strong and Daniel Davenport all scored single runs to lead Joey's Muffler.
Joey's led 1-0 before Easley plated five runs in the second inning.

One day after Title Company handed Mulay its first loss of the year, Food Giant followed suit by giving C.R. Sand its first loss of the year in Bambino (9-10) League play Thursday.
Trailing 5-3, Food Giant used a five-run, fourth inning to take an 8-5 lead and held off C.R. Sand 9-6.
C.R. Sand remains in first place at 6-1. Mulay had an open date Thursday night and stands at 5-1 in the standings.
The two teams meet for the first time Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m., in a make up game from May 21.
It was Food Giant's fifth straight win which helps the team improve to 5-2 for the year.
Raymond Patillo and Rich Jayroe each crossed home plate twice to lead Food Giant. Findley Scott Laws, Daries Banks, Tevin Hughes, Cody Broussard and Blake Duch added single runs.
Food Giant trailed 3-2 going into the top of the third.
A single run by Patillo tied the game at 3-3 before Sand broke the tie with two runs in the bottom of third when Barrett Astin and Brent Devazier each scored.
That led to Food Giant's big fourth inning. Sand was held to just one more run in the bottom of the fifth.
Astin led Sand by scoring three runs and Seth Smith hit a first inning home run.
In other Bambino games Thursday, Title Company won its second straight game, taking a 10-1 win over McDonald's.
Title scored seven runs on just two hits, four walks and two hit batters in the third inning.
Turner Norsworthy and Chris Hunter scored two runs each while Josh Davis, Mark Machen, Deonte Harris, Gage Raines, Steven Johnson and Jeffery Johnson added single runs.
Lee Smith scored the only run for McDonald's.
Pearson Insurance got three runs from Jared Northcutt and two runs from Tate Roberts and Chance Pearson in a 10-7 win over Sanyo.
Both teams were tied 3-3 after one inning. Sanyo took a 6-4 lead after two innings. Pearson put up five runs in the third inning to take a 9-6 lead.
Baker Aldridge, Doug Ferguson and Desmond Pigue scored two runs each for Sanyo.
In the final game of the night, Napa was awarded a forfeit win over Farm Credit, who could only field six players.
Fred's stayed on top of the Junior Babe Ruth standings Thursday by turning back Ridout 7-1.
It was the only game played of the three scheduled.
Planter's Bank was awarded a forfeit win over Hunton Office and Houser's got a forfeit win over the VIP's.
Fred's improves to 6-0 for the year while Planter's moves to 4-1 and stays in second.
Houser's, at 4-3 is holding down third place.
Terrence Ware and Fred Walker each scored twice for Fred's. Ware opened the game with a lead-off solo home run.
Milton Joyner, Ramsey Gibson and Richard Flenoy added single runs.
Fred's led 2-0 after scoring twice in the top of the first inning and pushed that lead to 7-0 before Ridout got a run in the bottom of the third when Princeton Davis walked and scored.
Ridout failed to get a hit but put five runners on base using walks.
The Junior Babe Ruth league will play several make up games Saturday, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
All of Saturday's games will be played on Field 8.
Poison and Patton & Taylor remained in a tie for first place in the Adult Men's Softball League after posting wins Thursday night.
Poison defeated Kerby's 15-5 and Patton & Taylor defeated SSA 14-6. Both are 5-0 for the year.
In other games, Elite Security downed FC Young Guns 10-5 and Miller Insurance defeated Boar's Head 19-1.
The Sanyo-Food Giant game ended in a no contest decision after a bench-clearing brawl in the third inning.
Courtney Burns, Sunni Dunn, Lindsay Renigar, Amber Williams and Bailey Pettus added single runs.
Children's scored five runs in the first inning and five in the second while holding Debbie's to just four runs in the first two innings.
Leigh Anna Taylor scored twice for Debbie's while Jessica Rickard, Charlie Miller, Brittney Futrell, Lauren Devazier, Rudy Steward and Candice Bradley each scored single runs.
