The annual Heather Mckee Memorial softball tournament, originally scheduled to be played this weekend, June 22-24, has been postponed, according to tournament organizer Tommy Hanner.
The tournament will be rescheduled for a date to be announced in July.
Hanner, in trying to keep pace with the changing program, had switched the tournament to the fast pitch mode this season for 16-under teams only.
Tuesday, Hanner said he had not had enough response to hold the tournament this weekend.
"We are looking at some options," Hanner said. "But we can't do anything until about the middle of July because the district tournaments are staring us in the face. We have the option of taking it back to slow pitch or making it slow and fast pitch with two different divisions."
The tournament is in its 12th year.
