Kermett Pearson

Mr. Kermett Pearson, age 76, of Madison, died Wednesday, March 14, 2001, at his home.

Mr. Pearson was employed by Griffin Lumber Company for 45 years.

He is survived by one son, Ulyssis Pearson of Forrest City; six sisters, Mary Smith of Germantown, Pa., Irene Brown, Jossie Bowen and Arlene Pearson, all of Forrest City, Velma Phillips of Madison and Verlene Harris of Las Angeles, Calif.; a brother, Robert Pearson of Philadelphia, Pa.

Visitation for Mr. Pearson will be Friday, March 16, 2001, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Kennedy Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2001, at 1 p.m., at St. John M.B. Church in Madison, with the Rev. James Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery in Madison with Kennedy Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.


Earl Triplett Jr.

Mr. Earl Triplett Jr., age 44, of Plumerville, died Sunday, March 11, 2001, at his home.

Mr. Triplett, born Feb. 27, 1957, in Forrest City was the son of Earl Triplett Sr. and Ann Barnett Triplett. He was a paramedic and E.M.S. for services throughout Arkansas. He was also employed with International Paper in Conway and was a member of the Indian Hills Baptist Chuch in North Little Rock.

Mr. Triplett is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Triplett, Lindsey Triplett and Megan Triplett; his mother, Ann Triplett of Palestine; three brothers, Larry Triplett, Carl Triplett and Curtis Triplett; and three sisters, Phyllis Triplett, Susie Triplett and Kathy Triplett.

Visitation for Mr. Triplett will be Thursday March, 15, 2001 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, March 16, 2001, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Stevens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
