Franklin Doyle Adams, 67, of Lake of Egypt, Marion, Ill. died Friday, March 23, 2001.
Mr. Adams, formerly of Forrest City, was born Nov. 29, 1933, in Marion, Ill. He was a former employee of Sanyo Manufacturing and a resident of Forrest City from 1972 to 1984. He was a veteran who served in Europe post-World War II.
Mr. Adams is survived by three sons, Mark, Steven and Kevin; a brother; four sisters and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and four brothers.
Funeral services for Mr. Adams were held Monday, March 26, 2001, in Goreville Illinois.
Mrs. Lortha Green Boone, age 84, of Forrest City, died Thursday, March 22, 2001, at Crestpark Retirement Inn.
Mrs. Boone was born June 14, 1916, in St. Louis, Mo. She was the daughter of Henry Woods and Lizzie Brown Woods.
Mrs. Boone is survived by a brother, Willie G. Woods of Mableton, Ga. and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation for Mrs. Boone will be held Friday, March 30, 2001, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Chapel of Woodhouse Mortuary. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 31, 2001, at 1 p.m. at Woodhouse Mortuary with Rev. Robert Woods officiating. Burial will follow in Casteel Cemetery under the direction of Woodhouse Mortuary.
Mr. Jerome M. Wallace, age 25, of West Memphis, died Saturday, March 24, 2001, at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis.
Mr. Wallace is survived by his mother, Barbara Wallace Dandridge of West Memphis; his father, Clarence Pearson Sr. of Forrest City; a daughter, Jermishia Wallace of Memphis; two sisters, Shena Dandridge of West Memphis and Telisha Pearson of Forrest City; four brothers, Marvin Wallace of West Memphis, Shannon Leaster of Kuwait, Clarence Pearson Jr. and Stephone Pearson, both of Forrest City; his grandparents, Richard and Martha Wallace and William and Marie Shipp, all of Sunset.
Visitation for Mr. Wallace will be Friday, March 30, 2001, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Anthony Funeral Home Chapel South in West Memphis. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 31, 2001, at 12:30 p.m., at Rising Sun M.B. Church in Sunset with burial following in Paradise Garden Cemetery in Edmondson. Anthony Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
