Mrs. Ruth Daggett Moore, age 93, of Forrest City, died Monday, March 5, 2001 at Crestpark Nursing Home.
Mrs. Moore was born on Feb. 14, 1908 in West Point, Miss. She was the daughter of Frederick Hunt Daggett and Janie Hopson Daggett. Mrs. Moore made her home in Forrest City the past 20 years, where she was a housewife and a member of the First Christian Church. She was active in the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Mrs. Moore married Earl Thomas Moore in 1977 and he preceded her in death in 1999. She is survived by a son, Sam Rolfe of Forrest City; a stepdaughter, Faye Moore Payne of Heth; a stepson, Tom Moore of Canton, Ga.; three granddaughters and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at 11 a.m. at Forrest Park Cemetery with Ted Parker officiating the service under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
The family requests memorials be made to the First Christian Church.
