Mrs. Ruth Warbritton Urton, age 80, of Forrest City, died Tuesday, March 6, 2001, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mrs. Urton was born on July 29, 1920, in Bee Branch and was the daughter of James Alfred Warbritton and Eliza Victoria Fleming Warbritton. She lived in Conway, North Little Rock and Jonesboro before moving to Forrest City. Mrs. Urton was a retired school teacher and a member of the First Baptist Church.
She married John R. Urton in 1941 and he survives her along with two sons, John Daniel Urton of Rock Island, Ill. and Samuel Britton Urton of North Little Rock; a daughter, Victoria Harris of Forrest City; a sister, Nell Warbritton Graddy of Beebe and seven grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Urton will be Wednesday, March 7, 2001, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2001, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church with burial following in Forrest Park Cemetery with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
