Forrest City senior forward Daffy Norment has been named to the Class AAAAA All-State basketball team.
Norment drew the second highest vote total behind Little Rock Mills' Carlos Merriweather in voting held last week.
Norment was also named to the AAAAA-East All-Conference team and was joined by Mustang teammates Josh Brown and James Johnson. Senior point guard Mark Lewis was named to the Honorable Mention team.
The Mustangs finished 12-12 for the year and third in the East Conference which qualified them for the Class AAAAA state tournament.
Forrest City lost to Camden-Fairview in the first round of the tournament
The Mustangs finished second at the fourth Rumble on the Ridge Thanksgiving Tournament this year.
It is Norment's first appearance on the All-State and All-Conference teams.

Forrest City rallied to load the bases in the bottom of the seventh inning Tuesday, trailing Stuttgart 11-8, but couldn't sustain the effort at the Sports Complex.
After pushing one run across with two outs, Forrest City left the tying run at second base when Leslie Jayroe's line drive to the outfield was snagged by Stuttgart for the final out, lifting the Lady Ricebirds to an 11-9 win in conference play.
Forrest City falls to 1-2 overall for the year and 1-1 in the league.
Stuttgart opened a 5-0 lead after two innings, before Forrest City rallied for five runs in the bottom of the second to tie the game at 5-5.
Jessica Long, Jayroe, Katie Murry, Kim Ursery and Kanetra Pendleton each scored single runs for the Lady Mustangs in the inning.
Stuttgart pushed two runs across in the third to regain a 7-5 cushion before Kim Hoots scored on a Jayroe RBI single in the bottom of the third to cut Stuttgart's lead to 7-6. Pendleton followed with a two-out, two run home run to right center field to put the Lady Mustangs in front 8-7.
It stayed that way until the top of the sixth when Stuttgart tied the game at 8-8 and then went ahead 9-8.
Forrest City did not score in the bottom of the sixth and Stuttgart added two insurance runs in the top of the seventh using two fielding errors by Forrest City.
In the bottom half of the seventh, Abby Townsend singled to left, Jessica Lewis singled to right center and Hoots used a fielder's choice to get on base with one out.
Katrina Wynne loaded the bases with an infield hit and Long's sacrifice fly out scored Townsend to cut Stuttgart's lead to 11-9.
The Lady Mustangs won the JV game 6-5 getting two runs from Wynne Tyeshia McDaniel and one run each from Angela Williams and Whitney Tracy.

Mark Lewis walked and scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning last Friday to help lift the Forrest City Mustang baseball team to a 6-5 win over West Memphis.
Forrest City improves to 2-4 overall for the year and 1-1 in the AAAAA-east Conference.
Marcus Hancock pitched eight innings for the Mustangs before giving way to Desmond Golatt in the ninth.
Hancock allowed five runs on nine hits. He struck out the West Memphis side in the fourth inning.
Golatt faced five batters in the top of the ninth and gave up one hit. He struck out West Memphis second baseman Chris Oswalt with baserunners at second and third.
Lewis scored on Damion Atwater's RBI single to give Forrest City the win.
West Memphis opened a 2-0 lead in the top of the second and added two more runs in the top of the third to increase their cushion to 4-0 before Forrest City answered in the bottom of the third with three runs.
Daffy Norment walked to start the inning and one out later, Lewis got on when West Memphis committed an error. Brandon Cochran went down on strikes for the second out and Will Harris brought both Norment and Lewis around to score with a two-RBI double.
Harris would score on Danny Flowers' RBI double to cut the West Memphis lead to 4-3.
The Mustangs tied the game at 4-4 in the bottom of the fourth when Drew Vaccaro walked and scored on another West Memphis error.
West Memphis pushed a single run across the plate in the top of the sixth inning to regain a 5-4 lead when Taylor Fowler doubled and scored.
Lewis scored his second run in the bottom of the seventh inning to tie the game at 5-5 after Forrest City sent six batters to the plate in the inning. Lewis' third run -- the game-winner -- came in the bottom of the ninth.
The Mustangs are scheduled to host the Wynne Yellowjackets Thursday at the Sports Complex for a varsity-junior varsity nonconference doubleheader, beginning at 4 p.m., weather permitting.
Forrest City's other victory came against West Helena. The Mustangs have lost to Searcy, North Little Rock, Osceola and Blytheville.
Michael Alston of Forrest City, was recently selected to the 11-12-year-old West Memphis Boys Club All-Star basketball team.
Each of the all-stars were selected by the opposing coaches in the league.
Alston, 13, is a seventh-grader at Lincoln Middle School and he is the son of Michael and Kim Alston.
During the regular season, Alston played for the Bulls.
The WM All-Star team will play in the Four States Invitational Tournament, hosted by the Boys and Girls Clubs of Benton County, March 23-25, in Bentonville.
The Forrest City post-season Intramuel league Tournament continues tonight at Mustang Arena.
The tournament began Tuesday and features sixth-and seventh-grade basketball teams.
In boys action, the Warriors defeated the Blazers 31-26 in overtime while the Tigers rolled up the Lakers 30-14 to advance.
The Titans edged the Bulldogs 27-25.
Tonight, the tournament will kick off with a girls' game at 4 p.m. between No Limit and Lincoln Middle School White.
In boys games, the Wildcats, who earned a bye into the second round, will face the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. and the Tigers will battle the Titans at 6:30 p.m.
The two winners will play for the tournament championship at 7:30 p.m.
