Mr. David Joe Drummond, age 49, of Vanndale, died Tuesday, May 15, at his home.
Mr. Drummond was born Sept. 18, 1951, and was the son of John Davis Drummond and Jewel Sellers Drummond. He was a carpenter.
Mr. Drummond is survived by his mother, Jewel Drummond of Wynne; one daughter, Genevieve Drummond of Wynne; two stepsons, Donnie Drummond and Steven Carlys Drummond, both of Colt; four brothers, Johnny Lee Drummond of Nebraska, Lonnie Drummond, Jimmy Drummond and Wayne Drummond, all of Wynne and three sisters, Brenda Yarbro, Rebecca Graves and Martha Bunch, all of Wynne.
Visitation for Mr. Drummond will be Wednesday, May 16, 2001, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Morgan Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 17, 2001, at 2 p.m., at Morgan Funeral Home with Bro. T.G. Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in Harris Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.
Mrs. Geraldine "Geri" Greenhill, age 61, of Forrest City, died Tuesday, May 15, 2001, at the Methodist Hospital in Memphis.
Mrs. Greenhill was born Oct. 9, 1939, in Cloudcroft, N.M. and was the daughter of William Kerr and Norma Wightman Kerr. She lived in Forrest City for the past 10 years and was a nurse for the Methodist Hospital in Memphis.
Mrs. Greenhill was preceded in death by her husband, David Greenhill in 1992. She is survived by one son, W. Reeves Moore of San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Sherry Timmons of Forrest City; one brother, William Kerr, Jr. of Ohio; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Greenhill, Thursday, May 17, 2001, at 11 a.m. at Stevens Funeral Home, with Stevens Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
