Mr. Ollie Herman Dotson, age 66, formerly of Forrest City, died Sunday, May 6, 2001, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Mr. Dotson was born Sept. 12, 1934, to Willie James and Judy Ellis Dotson in St. Francis County. He moved to Cleveland in 1957.
Mr. Dotson is survived by his wife, Carrie B. Searcy Dotson; two daughters, Darlene Roberts and Verlinda Dotson, both of Chicago, Ill.; six sons, Jeffery Dotson of Chicago, Ill., Herman T. Dotson, Gregory Dotson, Kevin Dotson and Michael Dotson and Don Adams, all of Cleveland, Ohio; three sisters, Lebertha Dotson of Cleveland, Ohio, Barbara Dotson and Odean Dotson, both of Forrest City; three brothers, James Dotson, Hugh Lester Dotson and Theodis Dotson, all of Forrest City; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred Dotson.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 12, 2001, at Cathedral Church of God in Christ in Cleveland, Ohio, with Bishop F.E. Perry officiating the services.
