Mr. David Joe Drummond, age 49, of Vanndale, died Tuesday, May 15, 2001, at his home.
Mr. Drummond was born September 18, 1951, and was the son of John Davis Drummond and Jewel Sellers Drummond. He was a carpenter.
Mr. Drummond is survived by his mother, Jewel Drummond of Wynne; a daughter, Genevieve Drummond of Wynne; two sons, Donnie Drummond and Steven Carlys Drummond, both of Colt; four brothers, Johnny Lee Drummond of Nebraska, Lonnie Drummond, Jimmy Drummond and Wayne Drummond, all of Wynne and three sisters, Brenda Yarbro, Rebecca Graves and Martha Bunch, all of Wynne.
Funeral services for Mr. Drummond were held Thursday, May 17,
2001, at Morgan Funeral Home with Bro. T.G. Ramsey officiating.
Burial followed in Harris Chapel Cemetery under the direction
of Morgan Funeral Home.
Mrs. Annie L. Sutton, age 91, of Forrest City, died Thursday, May 17, 2001, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mrs. Sutton was born Sept. 1, 1909, in Sebastopol, Miss., and was the daughter of George T. Roberts and Mary Ada Gilmore Roberts. She lived in Forrest City most of her life where she was a housewife and a member of Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Sutton was preceded in death by her husband, Deward Iving Sutton Sr., in 1972. She is survived by two sons, Deward Sutton Jr. and George Sutton, both of Forrest City; a daughter, Dorothy L. Grantham of Mountain Home; a brother, George W. Roberts of Mississippi; a sister, Emma Beckman of Mississippi; 14 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Sutton will be Saturday, May 19, 2001, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, May 20, 2001, at 10 a.m., at Stevens Funeral Home, with burial following in Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
