Mr. John Ellis Felts, age 71, of Forrest City, died Sunday, May 20, 2001, at Crestpark Nursing Home in Forrest City.
Mr. Felts, born Nov. 11, 1929, in Keiser, was the son of Harry Ellis Felts and Magnola Horton Felts. He was a former resident of Walnut Ridge and had lived in Forrest City for the past 11 years. He was a master mechanic and a past employee of Flippo Motors. He was also a Baptist.
In 1951 Mr. Felts married Nell Clark, and she survives him along with two sons, John Allen Felts of Missouri and Ronald Wayne Felts of Indiana; two daughters, Laura Diann D'Archangelis of New York and Anita Carol Gallion of Paragould; two brothers Melton Felts of Colorado and Martin Felts of Texas; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation for Mr. Felts will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2001, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the chapel of Stevens Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Felts will be Wednesday, May 23, 2001, at 11 a.m. at Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
The family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
