Jeff Lynne "Whyoh" Bryan

Jeff Lynne "Whyoh" Bryan, age 21, of Pearcy, died Friday, April 27, 2001.

Mr. Bryan was born Sept. 16, 1979, in Hot Springs. He was a member of the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle and active in church league basketball. Mr. Bryan was also a member of the Sycamore Hunting Club.

He is survived by his parents, Doug and Jackie Bryan of Pearcy; his birth mother, Leah Bryan of Mabelvale; four brothers, Tony Culpepper of Texarkana, Texas, Doug Cheek of Plano, Texas, Derek "Chipmunk" Cheek of Pearcy and Ethan Burchfield of Mabelvale and his grandparents, Boyse and Ruby Grigsby of Pearcy.

Mr. Bryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, J.A. Darnell Sr. and Mary Darnell and his paternal grandparents, Gene Bryan and Eloise Bryan.

Visitation for Mr. Bryan will be Friday, May 4, 2001, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Davis-Smith Funeral Home in Glenwood. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 5, 2001, at 3 p.m., in the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle with Bro. Dennis Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Oma Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home.


Joyce Lynn "Bobo" Bradley Penticost

Mrs. Joyce Lynn "BoBo" Bradley Pentecost, age 39, of Forrest City, died Thursday, May 3, 2001, in her home.

Mrs. Pentecost was born May 1, 1962, in Memphis and was the daughter of Charles Bradley and Peggy Gross Bradley. She lived in Marianna most of her life. Mrs. Pentecost lived in Bossier City, Louisiana prior to moving to Forrest City last year. She attended First Baptist Church in Forrest City and was in the Gospel Music Ministries. Mrs. Pentecost was a graduate of Calvary Christian School and had attended Ouachita Baptist University.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie Wayne Pentecost of Forrest City; a son, Colten Bradley Pentecost of the home; a daughter, Jordan DeSha Pentecost of the home; her father and step-mother, Charles and Lois Bradley of Marianna; one brother, Wendell Bradley of Forrest City.

Visitation for Mrs. Pentecost will be Saturday, May 5, 2001, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Sunday, May 6, 2001, at 4 p.m., at the First Baptist Church in Forrest City. Burial will follow in the Upper Cemetery in Brinkley under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
