Mrs. Pauletta Ann Cothern, age 52, of Bentonville, formerly of Colt, died Sunday, May 6, 2001, at her home.
Mrs. Cothern was born Aug. 13, 1948, in Marmaduke to Elvis D. Wright and Cora A. Taylor Wright. She was an auditor for the Profit Recovery Group, a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Bentonville where she was active in the bus ministry.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Billy Wright. Mrs. Cothern is survived by her husband, Ray Cothern of the home; two sons, Paul Cothern and Matthew Cothern, both of Bentonville; a brother, Larry Wright of Forrest City; two sisters, Bonnie Swan of Bee Branch and Mary Lou Ross of Osceola.
Visitation for Mrs. Cothern will be Wednesday, May 9, 2001, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel in Bentonville. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 10, 2001, at 1:30 p.m., at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel with Rev. Phillip Smith and Rev. Tom Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home.
Mrs. Michelle Lynn Wood, age 32, of Hughes, died Sunday, May 6, 2001, at Crittenden Memorial Hospital in West Memphis.
Mrs. Wood, an assistant manager at Freds, is survived by her husband, James Wood of Marion; two daughters, Kirby Lynn White and Kelsey Allison Grant, both of Hughes; her father, Mitchell Jarmon of Memphis; her mother, Linda Young of Hughes and a grandparent, K.D. Kirly of Hughes.
Visitation for Mrs. Wood will be Wednesday, May 9, 2001, at 6 p.m., at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 10, 2001, at 1 p.m., at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crittenden Memorial Park Cemetery in Marion under the direction of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home.
