Mrs. Bernice Harris, age 71, of Brickeys, died Tuesday, May 8, 2001, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.
Mrs. Harris was born Dec. 20, 1929, in Brickeys, to Barney and Merdle Aldridge and was a resident of Brickeys all of her life.
Mrs. Harris is survived by two daughters, Nancy Davis of Forrest City and Brenda Gray of Memphis; two sons, Larry Harris and Rickey Harris, both of Brickeys; four sisters, Mary Carruth and Pat Fortune, both of Memphis and Barbara Ann Calloway and Debbie Aldridge, both of Little Rock and many grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Harris and also by two sons Bruce Harris and Lloyd Harris Jr., all of Brickeys.
Funeral services for Mrs. Harris will be Wednesday, May 9, 2001, at 4 p.m., at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna.
