Franklin DeJuan Williams of Hampton, Va., died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, at his home. He was 40.
Mr. Williams was born Sept. 11, 1961, in Trumann, the son of Franklin Williams and Betty Richardson Williams. Formerly of Forrest City, he was a construction worker and a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Lea Bokker Williams; a daughter, Misty Marie Williams of the home; his parents, Franklin Williams and Betty Williams of Forrest City, three brothers, Mark Williams and Greg Williams, both of Forrest City and Doug Williams of Haynes; and his grandfather, Raymond Williams of Trumann.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, with Rev. Gary Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
A memorial service in honor of Senior Officer Specialist Ignacio "Nash" Cano will be held Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the Training Center of the Federal Correctional Institution.
The service will begin at 3 p.m. The Training Center is located on the prison grounds, outside the prison.
Cano died as the result of a boating accident on the White River on Nov. 8 of this year. Funeral services were held in Bib Springs, Texas.
