Ms. Angela Kathleen "Angie" Jones, age 35, of Tulsa, Okla., died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, at her home.
Ms. Jones was born Dec. 21, 1965, in Forrest City, and was the daughter of James E. Jones and Joyce E. Borden Jones. She was formerly of Palestine before moving to Hardy and had lived in Tulsa, Okla. the past six years. Ms. Jones was an employee of Wal-Mart and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her father, James E. Jones; one brother, James E. Jones Jr.; her maternal grandfather, Dave Borden and her paternal grandparents, Ben Jones and Dora Jones.
Ms. Jones is survived by her mother, Joyce E. Jones of Hardy; four sisters, Laveta Ross, Gloria Christian and Laurie Hoots, all of Palestine and Tina Ungerank of Pocahantas and her maternal grandmother, Meckie Borden of Palestine.
Visitation for Ms. Jones will be held Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services for Ms. Jones will be held Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at 2:30 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home with burial following in Salem Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
