Ms. Ann Marie Gambill, age 37, of Greenbrier, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001.
She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church at Bee Branch. She is survived by her parents, Rev. Gene and Arlyn Gambill, two sisters, Donna Clark of Mabelvale and Carol Haynes of Jonesboro, and a brother, Michael Gambill of Greenbrier.
The funeral was held Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001 at Bishop-Griffin Funeral Home in Greenbrier, with Rev. Jurl Mitchell and Rev. Gaylon King officiating. Burial followed at Thorn Cemetery in Greenbrier.
Mrs. A. Norene Laws Robbins, age 85, died Saturday, October 27, 2001 at Crestpark Nursing Home in Wynne.
Mrs. Robbins was born March 30, 1916, in S. Francis County, and was the daughter of Robert L. Laws and Alva Mae Watson Laws. She lived in St. Francis and Cross counties all her life. She was a housewife and a member of the Wynne Church of God.
In 1931, she married Ernest D. Robbins, who preceded her in death in 1983.
She is survived by two sons, Delton Robbins of Petal, Miss. and Bobby Robbins of Elgin, Ill.; a daughter, Brenda Gann of Wynne; a sister, June Gahr of ; Wynne, eight grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 29, 2001, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Services for Mrs. Robbins will be held graveside at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2001, at Hughes Cemetery in Forrest City. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
