Mr. Harvey Morlock, age 61, of Forrest City, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2001, at the Crestpark Retirement Inn in Forrest City.
Mr. Morlock was born May 6, 1940, in North Little Rock, and was the son of Lee Roy Morlock and Rosie Lee Owens Morlock. He was a Baptist.
Mr. Morlock is survived by his wife, Ruby Neal Morlock of Forrest City; a son, Edward Morlock of Overland Park, Kan.; five daughters, Eve Morlock Dillman of New Lenox, Ill., Darla Morlock of Arizona, Sarah Morlock Scheppler of Forrest City, Linda Morlock Robertson of Colt and Rebecca Morlock Clark of Mesa, Ariz.; 22 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service is scheduled for Mr. Morlock on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, at 6 p.m., at Widener Baptist Church under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
Mr. Jon G. "Gill" Underwood, age 39, of White Lake Township, Mich., died Monday, Oct. 29, 2001.
Mr. Underwood was a first mate on a commercial charter boat in Monroe, Mich. and organized golf outings for young people on dialysis.
He is survived by his mother, Val Devasier of White Lake, Mich.; his father, Ray Underwood of LaSalle, Mich.; two sisters, Jadin Howton and Rayna L. Underwood and one brother, Michael L. Underwood.
Funeral services for Mr. Underwood will be conducted Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, at 6:30 p.m., at Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home in Waterford, Mich.
The family request memorials be made to the University of Michigan Cancer Center or the University of Michigan Young People on Dialysis.
