WEST MEMPHIS -- The Forrest City Junior Varsity Mustangs didn't get a win over West Memphis Monday, but they didn't taste a loss either at Hamilton-Schultz Field.
The JV Mustangs slipped to 3-1-1 after settling for a 6-6 tie against the JV Blue Devils, the only team to have defeated Forrest City this season.
Forrest City scored first and missed the extra point. West Memphis rallied late to tie the game at 6-6.
"These kids (sophomores) are playing hard and more importantly, they love to play," said Mustang Coach Donnie Willis. "They have a lot of character and a lot of spirit. I'm proud of what they've done this year."
The Forrest City youth soccer league will end their season tonight by playing make-up games tonight at the Sports Complex.
