Patricia Ann Foley

Mrs. Patricia Ann Foley of Forrest City died Sunday, April 7, 2002, at Crittenden Memorial Hospital. She was 49.

Mrs. Foley was born May 3, 1952, in Forrest City. She was a retired auditor.

Survivors include her father, Lepoleon Nelson of Forrest City; her mother, Lillie Nelson of Forrest City; three sisters, Earlene Townsend of California, Bytha Mills of Troy, Mich., and Peggy Nelson of Little Rock and three brothers, Lepoleon Nelson Jr., of Conway, Edward Nelson of Little Rock and Christopher Nelson of Atlanta.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 12, 2002, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Clay Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2002, at the Taylor's Chapel CME Church with burial to follow in Casteel Cemetery under the direction of Clay Funeral Home of Forrest City.


William "Dub" Hill

Mr. William "Dub" Hill of Forrest City died Monday, April 8, 2002, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City. He was 73.

Mr. Hill was an employee of Halstead Industries and the Arkansas Highway Department in Wynne for a number of years before retiring. He also operated the former Hill's Service Station in Wynne for two years. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church near Wynne and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served during the Korean War.

Survivors include two sons, Brian Kenneth Hill of Colt and Lee Hill of Caldwell; one daughter, Cindy Lowe of Hardy; one brother, Richard T. Hill of Forrest City; one sister, Louise West DeWitt of Colt; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents, Emmitt and Ruby Tims Hill; his wife, Bonnie Faye Haynes Hill; a son, William Keith Hill and a brother, Clovis Eugene Hill.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2002 at the Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Wynne. Burial was in Harris Chapel Cemetery at Wynne under the direction of Thompson-Wilson Funeral Homes of Wynne and McCrory.


Lyda Mae Wright

Mrs. Lyda Mae Wright of Blytheville, formerly of Forrest City, died Saturday, April 6, 2002, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville. She was 95.

Mrs. Wright was born Jan. 14, 1907, in Jericho, Ark. She was a retired housekeeper.

Survivors include two daughters, Tessie Okuseinde of Blytheville and Lena Thomas of Youngstown, Ohio; a sister, Frenchie Young of Chicago; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 12, 2002, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Clay Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2002, at the Cornerstone M.B. Church with burial to follow in Stanley Grove Cemetery under the direction of Clay Funeral Home of Forrest City.
