Dois G. "Bud" Hutcherson

Mr. Dois G. "Bud" Hutcherson, age 80, formerly of Forrest City, died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002, at the Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould.

Mr. Hutcherson was born Jan. 30, 1922, in Marmaduke, the son of Earl Hutcherson and Mary Pannell Hutcherson. He lived in St. Francis County most of his life, was a mine and gravel operator, a veteran of World War II and Korean War and was a Baptist.

Mr. Hutcherson married Rita Chapman in 1958, and she preceded him in death in 2000. He is survived by four sons, Don Hutcherson of Paragould, James Hutcherson of San Antonio, Texas, Gaylan Hutcherson of and Jimmy Cleaver both of Forrest City; one daughter, Mary Gay Hutcherson of Richmond, Va.; one sister, Wanda Dickinson of Marmaduke; one brother, Ricky Hutcherson of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, Aug. 31, 2002, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Services will be held Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. with burial following in Forrest Park Cemetery. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.


Francine Teeters

Mrs. Francine Teeters, 42, of Kuttawa, Ky., died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002, at her home in Kuttawa.

Mrs. Teeters was born Sept. 18, 1959, in Crittenden County, the daughter of Patrick Taylor Wilkinson and Bonnie Lou Wallace Wilkinson. She was an Environmental Program Supervisor for the Pennyrile District Health Department serving Lyon, Caldwell, Crittenden, Trigg and Livingston counties in Kentucky and was a Baptist.

Mrs. Teeters is survived by her daughter, Jasmine Tifarah Teeters of Kuttawa, Ky.; a son, J.J. Teeters of Kuttawa, Ky.; her mother; four brothers, Allen Wilkinson and Raymond Wilkinson both of Forrest City, Eddie Wilkinson of Paducah, Ky. and Thomas Wilkinson; two foster sisters, Bea Iba Cruz of Lexington, Ky. and Alice Medina of Glencoe, Minn. She was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation for Mrs. Teeters will be held Friday, Aug. 30, 2002, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville, Ky. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 31, 2002 at 11 a.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Hagan officiating. Burial will follow in Chestnut Oak Cemetery in Lyon County under the direction of Lakeland Funeral Home of Eddyville, Ky.
