Emma Reed Nabor

Mrs. Emma Reed Nabor, age 90, of Marianna, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City. She was a retired teacher and is survived by a sister, Lillian Hodge of Los Angeles, Calif.; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Nabor was held from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, at the J.E. Kennedy Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at 12 p.m. at the Paradise #1 M. B. Church with Rev. E.H. Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Reed Cemetery.


Junior Richardson

Mr. Junior Richardson, age 84, of Little Rick, and formerly of Palestine, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, at Baptist Medical Center.

Mr. Richardson was born March 15, 1918, in Palestine and was a retired farmer. He is survived by a daughter, Ola Mae Barton of Palestine; four brothers, Murry Richardson, Melton Richardson and Clyde Richardson all of Minneapolis, Minn., and Sam Richardson of Battle Creek, Mich.; six sisters, Marie Smith of Forrest City, Vannise Bogard of Palestine, Lorraine Ward of Detroit, Mich., Odessia Taylor and Loistine Colem both of Minneaplois, Minn., and Mattie Fortes of Ashland, Mass.; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation for Mr. Richardson was held on Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, from 10:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Clay Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002 at 10 a.m. at the Union Hill M. B. Church with Rev. Derron Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery in Palestine.
