Mrs. George Davis (Elizabeth "Biff") Eldridge, 70, of Forrest City, died Sunday, July 7, 2002 in Heber Springs.
Visitation for Mrs. Eldridge will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Monday, July 8, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Services will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2002, with burial following in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Forrest City, or the Forrest City Public Library.
Mrs. Catherine England, age 96, of Forrest City, died Wednesday, July 3, 2002, at the Crestpark Retirement Inn in Forrest City. She was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Mrs. England is survived by a son, Gordon R. England of Ft. Worth, Texas; a daughter, Mary Lou Wilkinson of Caldwell; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son and a grandson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., on Tuesday, July 9, 2002, at Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral Mass for Mrs. England will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2002, at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, the St. Francis County C.A.R.E. Center or Rolling Readers.
