So you say you still haven't had your fill of youth baseball? You say you're looking for something to do this weekend besides sit around the house soaking up the A/C?
Well, friends, you're in luck.
As luck would have it, the Forrest City Sports Complex will host the Fireball Classic, Friday, Saturday and Sunday featuring some of the best 10 and 11-year-old youth baseball teams in the area.
The tournament will feature Olympic Pool style play with the teams with the best records advancing to Sunday's semifinals.
The 10-year-old bracket includes Forrest City 2, Lucas Trucking, West Memphis, Jonesboro, the Jonesboro Braves and Marion.
The 10s begin tonight at 6 p.m.
The 11-year-old bracket features Forrest City, Wynne, Southaven, Miss., Des Arc and Jonesboro. The 11s start play Saturday morning.
The Forrest City 9-year-old All Stars opened state tournament play today at Maumelle.
The team, coached by Scott Deere, is comprised of Devin Green, Will Trail, Zach Trail, Corey Deere, Ben Dickey, Caleb Sugg, Anthony Wallace, Akeem Bogard, Rothulles Steverson, Tyler Clark, Leslie Parker and Devante Mitchell.
*Jeff Smallmon, Northeast Arkansas District Four Administrator has selected the tournament sites for the All-Star tournaments that are held every year in Northeast Arkansas.
The 11-12 "Little League" Division tournament will be held in Walnut Ridge and Augusta.
The 9&10-year-old Division tournaments will be held in McCrory and Piggott. The 7-8 "Junior Minor League" Tournament will be held in Marked Tree and Newport.
The 13-year-old "Junior League" and 14-15-year-old "Senior League" tournaments will be held at Providence.
The District playoff sites are determined by the outcome of the area tournaments. Last years District Champions in each division won its' area the right to host the best 2 out of 3 District Play-off at the home field of this years Area Tournament.

The Forrest City A American Legion team couldn't sustain a late rally Wednesday, falling to Stuttgart 3-2 at Stuttgart.
Stuttgart opened a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning and added a single run in the bottom of the third to lead 3-1.
Forrest City plated a run in the top of the fourth but managed just two base runners over the final innings.
Charles Gaines and Dustin Gore scored single runs for Forrest City.
Danny Flowers got the start for Forrest City.
In the AAA game, Forrest led 5-4 going into the bottom of the fifth against Stuttgart but lost the game 8-5 when Stuttgart scored twice in the bottom of the fifth and added two more runs in the bottom of the sixth for the win.
Gaines and Adam Roberts put Forrest City on the board in the top of the first when plated single runs.
Stuttgart tied the game at 2-2 in the bottom of the second and went in front 3-2 in the bottom of the third.
Forrest City used single runs from Robert Hill and Jesse Whittemeore in the top of the fourth to push their lead to 4-3 and added a single run in the fifth when Flowers singled and scored.
Forrest City will be in action twice over the weekend, both road games.
Saturday, the A Legion team will play a doubleheader at Jonesboro and on Sunday, Forrest City will play an A-AAA doubleheader at Blytheville.
The Forrest City Mustang/Lady Mustang elementary basketball camp for boys and girls, entering the fourth, fifth and sixth grades, will start Monday, July 8 and continue through Thursday, July 11, at Mustang Arena.
Cost per camper is $20 and the camp is limited to the first 50 boys and girls who register.
The girls will attend from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. each day while the boys will attend from 12 noon until 3 p.m. each day.
*East Arkansas Community College will hold a fast-pitch girls' softball camp, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, July 29-31, at the EACC baseball field.
The camp will be held in two sessions -- youths ages 6-8 attending from 9 a.m. until 12 noon and youths ages 9-12 from 1 until 4 p.m. each day.
The camp will be staffed by Dulin's Sports Academy of Memphis.
Cost per camper is $85 and the deadline to register is Friday, July 26.

Palestine-Wheatley High School will host a Youth Enterprise in Agriculture (YEA) basketball game, Saturday, July 6, from 12 noon until 4 p.m., at Patriot Gym.
There is no admission but donations will be accepted at the door.
Highlights will include a three-point shootout, a slam-dunk contest and a 4-on-4 tournament.
