Mandy Humphrey

Mrs. Mandy Humphrey, age 68, of Forrest City, died Saturday, June 15, 2002, in Memphis.

Mrs. Humphrey, a homemaker, was a member of Salem M.B. Church where she served as a deaconess and a Sunday school teacher. She is survived by her husband, George Humphrey; four daughters, Lou-Bertha Sykes of Wynne, Queen Robinson of Memphis, Lucille Robinson of Detroit, Mich. and Inez Toney of Milwaukee, Wisc.; five sons, Eddie Lee Robinson and Ronnie Lee Robinson, both of Milwaukee, Wisc., Almus Robinson and Jimmy Lee Robinson, both of Detroit, Mich. and Sylvester Robinson of Chicago, Ill.; two brothers Charlie Washington and Jessie Washington, both of Forrest City; a sister, Mary Bowens of St. Louis, Mo.; 28 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Visitation services for Mrs. Humphrey will be held Friday, June 21, 2002, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Salem M.B. Church. Funeral services for Mrs. Humphrey will be held Saturday, June 22, 2002, beginning at noon at Salem M.B. Church. Burial will follow in Paradise Garden Cemetery under the direction of Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home in West Memphis.


Wadie Miller

Mr. Wadie Miller, age 65, of Forrest City, died Monday, June 17, 2002 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Eva Irene Miller of Columbia, Miss.; one son Nolan Miller of Kokomo, Miss.; four daugthers Ida Mae Miller and Gloria Miller both of Columbia, Miss., Michelle Miller of Los Angeles, Calif. and Carolyn Miller Anderson of Kokomo, Miss.; his mother, Edith Franklin; 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Miller will be Friday, June 21, 2002 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at J. E. Kennedy Chapel. Services will be held at Perion M. B. Church at 12 p.m. Saturday, June 22, with Rev. Bookes Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Perion cemetery under the direction of J. E. Kennedy Funeral Home.
