Mr. Charles Thomas Amos, age 46, of Jacksonville, died Saturday, June 1, 2002, near Cabot.
Mr. Amos, the son of Paul and Jean Amos, was born in Florence, Ala. He was a former resident of Marianna prior to moving to the Cabot and Jacksonvile area and he was a house painter.
He is survived by his mother, Jean Amos of Lake City; a daughter, Tina Joe Amos of Cabot; four brothers, Dwight Amos of Walls, Miss., Larry Davis and Lesley Amos, both of Cabot, and Malcolm Amos of Jonesboro; a sister Paula Wiggins of Harrisburg and three grandchildren.
Visitation services for Mr. Amos will be held Monday, June 3, 2002, from 6 to 8 p.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Amos will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at 1 p.m. at Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
Mrs. Bessie Smith Moody Albright, age 91, formerly of Forrest City, died Sunday, June 2, 2002.
Mrs. Albright, born Oct. 31, 1910, in Union, Miss., was the past owner of Moody Cleaners and a member of First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Albright is survived by a sister, Nellie Sebastian of Brinkley; a brother, Murray Smith of Tuscon, Ari. and a niece. She was preceded in death by two husbands, W.W. Moody, in 1964, and John Albright, in 1989.
Funeral services for Mrs. Albright will be held graveside, Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at 11 a.m. at Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
The family requests memorials be made to Country Wood Estate Nursing Home or to the charity of one's choice.
Mr. Robert Snow Hargraves, age 55, of Hot Springs, died Saturday, June 1, 2002, at a Hot Springs Hospital.
Mr. Hargraves, born March 9, 1947, in Memphis, was the son of Olmon Hall Hargraves and Jean Foster Hargraves. Mr. Hargraves served as the Garland County Juvenile Referee and established the juvenile justice program in Hot Springs. He practiced law for 29 years and was the senior partner of Hargraves and McCrary, P.A. He also served as an Arkansas Bar Examiner and twice served as a Special Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court.
Mr. Hargraves is survived by his wife, Joanie Manning Hargraves, of Hot Springs; two sons, Lucas Snow Hargraves of Little Rock and Jacob Manning Hargraves of Fayetteville; his mother; a brother, James Hall Hargraves of Forrest City; two sisters, Ruth Hargraves of Washington, D.C. and Rosemary Cianciolo of Memphis and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation services for Mr. Hargraves will be held Monday, June 3, 2002, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Funeral services for Mr. Hargraves will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at 1 p.m. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Hot Springs with Rev. James McClean an Rev. Larry Williams officiating.

Mrs. Rachel Bell Jones, age 78, of Springdale, died Saturday, June 1, 2002, at the North West Medical Center in Springdale.
Mrs. Jones born Feb. 15, 1924, in Widener, was the daughter of Joseph B. Bell and Eva Bridges Bell. She made her home in Memphis for most of her life and was retired from Burlington Railroad. She was a Baptist.
Mrs. Jones is survived by a son, Joseph D. Gordan of Springdale; a sister, Mary Ann Manger of Billings, Mont. and three grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Jones will be held graveside, Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at 3 p.m. at Forrest Park Cemetery in Forrest City, under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mildred Sides Yager, age 83, of Moscow, Tenn., died Friday, May 31, 2002, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.
Mrs. Yager, born Sept. 30, 1918, in Moscow, Tenn., was a former resident of Forrest City. She was the daughter of Will and Minne Lee McCraw Sides. She was an elementary school teacher in the Palestine public school system for 18 years and spent two years teaching in Southaven, Miss., prior to retiring. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Forrest City and Rossville Baptist Church.
On Aug. 5, 1937, Mrs. Yager married her husband, Claude Yager Sr. and he preceded her in death in 1991. She is survived by a daughter, Virginia Kay Griffin of Springdale; a son, Claude Yager Jr., of Corinth, Miss.; three sisters, Fay Elrod of Manchester, Tenn., Sara Helen Thacker of Athens, Ala. and Mary Lee Pugh of Rossville, Tenn.; two brothers, Bill Sides and Carl Sides, both of Moscow; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Yager was also preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Boone, in 1994.
Funeral services for Mrs. Yager were held Sunday, June 2, 2002, at Peebles Chapel in Somerville, Tenn.. Burial followed at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Moscow under the direction of Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home of Wynne and McCrory.
