Forrest City American Legion dropped a doubleheader home game to Blytheville last Tuesday, losing 13-6 and 8-0 and then lost to Wynne twice Saturday.
"Still just silly mistakes that are hurting us," Forrest City Darrell Gaskin said. "Players not picking up signals, making too many throwing errors and misplaying too many easy catches in the outfield."
Forrest City did push Wynne to extra innings on Saturday in the first game of the two-game set, before losing 8-7 in eight innings.
Wynne trailed 5-4 going into the top of the seventh inning before rallying for a single run using a fielder's choice play, two hits and a pair of walks to tie the game at 5-5.
Forrest City failed to score in the bottom of the seventh after getting Danny Flowers on base with a one-out base hit.
Wynne broke the tie with three runs in the top of the eighth, taking advantage of a couple of throwing errors while getting two base hits and one walk to lead 8-5.
Forrest City plated two runs in the bottom of the eighth but left the game-tying and game-winning runs stranded at second and third base when the final out was recorded.
In the nightcap, Wynne put the game away early by scoring 11 runs on six hits in the first inning to lead 11-1 after one inning on their way to the 13-2 victory.
Forrest City got a single run from Charles Gaines in the first and from Danny Flowers in the third.
