Teresa Bobo

Mrs. Teresa Bobo, 55, of Forrest City, formerly of Hughes, died Tuesday, May 14, 2002, at Crittenden Memorial Hospital.

Bobo is survived by her daughter, Patricia Kirby of Forrest City, and a son, Freddie B. Hays of Widener. She also is survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Bobo will be held Saturday, May 18, 2002, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at Rising Sun M. B. Church. Services will follow at 12 noon at the church. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery in Widener, under the direction of Anthony Funeral Home.


Angela Faye Duff

Ms. Angela Faye Duff, 30, of Forrest City, died Wednesday, May 15, 2002, in Earle. Duff was an assembly worker.

She is survived by her father, Rufus Duff of Forrest City; two sons, Tyler Duff and Justin Duff; four sisters, Carolyn Bean, Jeanelle Duff and Donna Duff, all of Little Rock, and Jacqulyn Lewis of Memphis; five brothers, Barry Duff and Lonnie Duff of Atlanta, Martin Duff and Ronnie Duff of Forrest City and Rufus Duff III of Little Rock, and a grandmother Odell Duff of Atlanta.

Visitation for Ms. Duff will be held today, May 17, 2002, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Salem M. B. Church in Forrest City. Services will be held Saturday, May 18, 2002, at 1 p.m. at Salem M. B. Church with burial to follow at Paradise Gardens Cemetery. Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangments.


Maxine Bell Gilbreath

Mrs. Maxine Bell Gilbreath, age 73, of Forrest City, died Friday, May 17, 2002, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.

Ms. Gilbreath, born Jan. 19, 1929, in Forrest City, was the daughter of Cecil and Mary Weeks Bell. She worked for the Forrest City School District for 25 years and had attended TSCW College in Texas before transferring to the University of Arkansas where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. She was also a member of La Petite Women's Club, Garden Gate Garden Club and a life member and officer of Junior Auxiliary. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd.

Mrs. Gilbreath was married to the late William J.C. Gilbreath and is survived by a daughter, GiGi Gilbreath Twist of Boca Raton, Fla.; a son William "Gil" Gilbreath Jr. of Forrest City; a sister Marion Bell Whitaker of Memphis; a brother Don R. Bell of Forrest City; four grandchildren..

A memorial service for Mrs. Gilbreath will be held Monday, May 17, 2002, at 3:30 p.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Forrest City. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church Parish Hall. The family requests memorials be sent to the Church of the Good Shepherd or to ones favorite charity.
