Mrs. Rubie K. Davis, of Forrest City and formerly of Earle, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at her home. Arrangements have yet to be announced. W.H. Johnson Funeral Home of Earle is in charge.
Mrs. Mary Hall, age 56, of Wynne, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, in a Memphis hospital.
Mrs. Hall was born July 14, 1946, in Parkin, the daughter of Eunice Ball and Roberta Lucas Ball. She was a homemaker and a nine year resident of Wynne.
Mrs. Hall is survived by her husband, Jerry Hall; four sons, Robert Astill and Lonnie Allen Shephard both of Forrest City, Jerry Hall Jr. of Pineville, La., Denver Tate of Palestine; three daughters, Flenia Chinn of Shreveport, La., Rebecca Turner of Pineville, La., Sharon Shephard of Forrest City; one brother, Ernest Ball of Des Moines, Iowa; one sister, Virginia Pretty of Parkin; and 25 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte Louise Shephard and a brother, Wayne Ball.
Visitation for Mrs. Hall will be held Monday, Oct. 7, 2002, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the United Pentecostal Church in Wynne. Services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002, at 2 p.m. at the United Pentecostal Church in Wynne with Bro. T.G. Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in Parkin Cemetery with Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home of Brinkley in charge of all arrangements.
