The Forrest City White Mustangs scored on their first four possessions Thursday to build a 30-0 lead over West Memphis East.

The White Mustangs went on to take a 38-6 win, improving to 3-4 for the year and winning their second straight game.

Michael Holland scored three times for Forrest City and ran for 91 yards on eight carries. Travis Holloway scored one touchdown and Alfred Robinson added a touchdown, one two-point conversion and had a safety -- one of two recorded by the White defense. Robinson also fired a touchdown pass to Rashad Green to complete the scoring.

Jarvis Palmer blocked a punt and Randy Miller recovered two fumbles and had a safety.

Forrest City led 16-0 after one quarter, 32-0 at the half and 32-6 to start the fourth quarter.

East (0-7) scored with 3:12 to play in the third quarter on a 1-yard run set up by a Forrest City turnover at the Mustangs 36-yard line.

Terrell Lee and Quentin Phillips each had four solo tackles for Forrest City while Holland had three and Lamar Isom had three.

Blue Mustangs 36,

MacArthur 0

Preston Echols and Cory Embry each scored two touchdowns and Michael Alston intercepted a pass and returned it for touchdown as the Blue Mustangs improved to 4-2 for the year with a 36-0 win over Jonesboro MacArthur Thursday.

The final score was also the halftime score as Forrest City did all of the scoring in the first half.

The two touchdowns for Echols were the first of the season for the freshman running back.

The entire second half was played using the 35-point mercy rule, which meant the clock ran continuously.

Embry put Forrest City over the 35-point plateau when he picked off a MacArthur pass and returned it for the score as time expired in the first half.

Blue Coach Rich Trail credited both the offensive and defensive lines for their play.

West 17, Annie Camp 12

Jonesboro Annie Camp's undefeated season ended Thursday in a 17-12 loss to West Memphis West.

The victory gives West first place in the conference with Annie Camp (6-1) holding second.

West Memphis West (7-0) scored with 28 seconds remaining in the game on a 25-yard touchdown pass.

With over a minute left, Annie Camp stopped West's drive on the Whirlwind 15. Annie Camp failed to get a first down and decided to run the punt into the end zone for a safety.

West Memphis (7-0, 6-0) trailing 12-10, then put together the winning drive.

Carter Harbuck scored with 1:06 remaining in the first half on a 1-yard quarterback sneak for Annie Camp as it took a 6-0 lead into the half.

West Memphis scored in the third quarter and added the two-point conversion for an 8-6 lead.

Whirlwind running back Damron Thomas punched it in from the two-yard line with 6:32 remaining in the contest to finish off the scoring for Annie Camp.

Cross Co. 32, Salem 20

Cross County's Kendole Boykin ran in two touchdowns of 20 yards each to lead the junior Thunderbirds in a 32-20 victory over Salem Thursday.

The T-birds (5-2, 5-2) grabbed a 24-0 lead before Salem scored.
