Mr. Tom Westbrook, age 60, of Palestine, died Tuesday, September
17, at his home in Palestine. He had been in poor health for the
past three months.
Mr. Westbrook was born November 11, 1941, in Palestine, and
was the son of Thomas Westbrook and Ozella Lane Westbrook. He
lived in Palestine most of his life, was retired from Leaf Incorporated
in Memphis, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Palestine.
Mr. Westbrook married Barbara Coons in 1962, and she survives
him along with two daughters; Mrs. Cindy Reeves and Mrs. Vanessa
Ferguson, both of Palestine, two brothers; Mr. Bill Westbrook
and Mr. Robert Westbrook, both of Marmaduke, Arkansas, two sisters;
Mrs. Sarah Lindsey of Mississippi, and Mrs. Doris Cook of Palestine,
and three grandchildren; Dana, Savannah, and Caylie.
Services for Mr. Westbrook will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 19, with burial in Bell Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge.
