Reba Leona Adams

Mrs. Reba Leona Adams, age 73, of Forrest City, died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2002, at Crestpark Retirement Inn in Forrest City.

Mrs. Adams was born Oct. 21, 1928, in Lake City, the daughter of John Good and Mrytle Good. She lived in Forrest City most of her life, was a retired Food Service Supervisor for geriatrics and a member of the Madison Baptist Church.

Mrs. Adams married Clinton Adams in 1946 and he preceded her in death. She is survived by seven daughters, Paulette Adams of Conway, Peachie Manley of Forrest City, Peggy Cordell of Heth, Phyllis Jones of West Helena, Pam Nelson of Forrest City, Priscilla Clark of Pocohantas, Penny West of Heth; one son, Ivory Adams of West Memphis; five brothers, Charles Good of Rialto, Calif., Sumptner Good of Waterford, Calif., William Good of Greensville, Mo., Carlyle Good of Fla., and Jack Good of Palestine; three sisters, Orma Boling of Thayer, Mo., Sunshine Bales of Bakersville, Mo., and Johnnie Faye Hurt, Palestine; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Harold Good, Earl Good and Norman Good.

Visitation for Mrs. Adams will be held at Farmers Union Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2002. Funeral services for Mrs. Adams will be held on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Farmers Union Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland under the direction of Farmers Union Funeral Home.


Brian Kieth Croney

Mr. Brian Kieth Croney, age 32, of Heber Springs and formerly of St. Francis County, died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2002, at his mother's home.

Mr. Croney is survived by his father, Larry Croney; his mother, Sue Croney-Shearer; a half-brother, Tyler Shearer; a step-sister, Angela Hendrixson and his grandmother Mattye Faye Croney.

Visitation for Mr. Croney will be Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Olmstead Funeral Home in Heber Springs. Funeral services for Mr. Croney will be held Friday, Sept. 7, 2002, at 3 p.m. at the First General Baptist Church in Heber Springs. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery in Orasco under the direction of Olmstead Funeral Home.


Fannie Sue Wages

Mrs. Fannie Sue Wages, age 82, of Forrest City, died Monday, Sept. 2, 2002, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Forrest City.

Mrs. Wages was born June 29, 1920, the daughter of Marvin Beene and Cleo Bennett Beene, She was a seamstress for Reltoc and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Wages married Isaac Martin Wages Jr. in 1946 and he preceded her in death. She is survived by one son, Marty Wages Sr. of Forrest City; a daughter, Margaret Ann Brazile of Forrest City; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation serivces for Mrs. Wage will be held Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services for Mrs. Wages will be held Friday, Sept. 6, 2002 at 10 a.m. in Morgan Chapelwith Bro. David Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.
