The East Arkansas Youth Football Association was hoping to open league play Saturday at Sam Smith Stadium.
That won't happen, according to Forrest City Athletic Director Michael Bender.
"I told them they were welcome to use any of our practice facilities, but not the stadium field," Bender said.
The four-team league will play on the high school practice field, located to the west of the stadium beginning at 3 p.m. when the Forrest City Ponys take on the Caldwell Gators.
The Forrest City Razorbacks and the Forrest City Steelers will match up at approximately 4:30 p.m. in the second game.
