Mrs. Vernal King "Puddin" Lee, aged 92, of Palestine, died Monday, April 14, 2003, at her home.
Mrs. Lee was born June 28, 1910 in Oak Forest, the daughter of Louis King and Pearl Parker King. She lived in the Palestine area all her life, was a housewife and a member of the Palestine Church of Christ.
In 1929, she married Rex Lee, and he preceded her in death in 1990. She is survived by a daughter, Donna Elliott of Palestine; two sisters, Eva Stanley of Conroe, Texas and Fronia Gunn of West Helena; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation services will be held at the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday, April 15, 2003, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services for Mrs. Lee will be held at the Palestine Church of God in Christ at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2003, with burial following in Bell Cemetery.
