Donnia McMinn Miley, 58, of Palestine, died Wednesday, April
16, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital East, Memphis, Tennessee.
Mrs. Miley, born August 16, 1944 in DeQueen, Arkansas worked
as a construction clerk for Entergy. She was a member of the Emmanuel
Baptist Church, Forrest City, Arkansas, where she was active in
Missions, Team-Kids, Children's Ministry and Women's Ministry.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Robert Swindler;
mother, Verna Faye McClure; step-father, Raymond W. McClure; step-mother,
Doris Swindler; son, William "Billy" McMinn; daughter,
Melissa Dawn Burt and brother, John Allen Swindler.
Mrs. Miley is survived by her husband, Robert Gerald Miley
of Palestine, Arkansas; daughter, Jerri Leahanne McMinn Gossett
of Wynne, Arkansas; brother, John Luther Swindler of Marion, Arkansas;
sister, Sherry Swindler Holmes of West Memphis, Arkansas and three
grandchildren.
Visitation services for Mrs. Miley will be held on Friday,
April 18, 2003, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Kernodle Funeral Home,
Wynne, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 19, 2003, at
the Palestine High School Gymnasium, Palestine, Arkansas, at 2
p.m. with Rev. David Ramsey and Rev. Jeffery Author officiating.
Burial will follow in Johnson Cemetery, near Wynne, Arkansas.
The family requests memorials be sent to the Emmanuel Baptist
Church Mission Fund, Forrest City, Arkansas.
